Is Core Maternity Education accredited?
Doula training and maternity educator training are not regulated professions in the UK, and there is no statutory accrediting body for these roles.
Core Maternity Education provides non-clinical professional education. Our certificates confirm completion of a structured, reflective training programme and do not represent statutory or clinical qualifications.

Do I need previous experience?
No previous professional experience is required. The programme is designed for beginners as well as those already supporting families who want clearer structure and boundaries.
Is there an exam?

Assessment is portfolio-based. Throughout the course you complete reflections and scenarios which are reviewed at the end to confirm readiness to begin practice.
Will this course qualify me as a midwife or healthcare professional?
No.
This training is non-clinical and does not qualify learners as midwives, nurses, or healthcare professionals.
